Jordan's Manga Recommendations!
“Simply put, I’m glad that manga as an expressive form is expanding.” —Natsuki Takaya
Do you like reading manga? Looking for a new series to start? Well, here are some underrated manga I think deserve more attention.
A Sign of Affection by Suu Morishita This Series is about a college freshman who is deaf after a chance encounter on a train leads her to meet the male lead who loves to travel and learn new languages a budding romance starts. This story is sweet and will surely make you smile. It currently has 7 volumes so far and is still on going.
Mieruko-Chan by Tomoki Izumi A Horror based series about a girl who can see ghosts and really wishes she can’t. The art is creepy but great and is also an ongoing series with 8 volumes currently.
Bloom Into You by Nakatani Nio A Love story about 2 young girls who go through high school together. I loved the progress of their relationship and how they discovered themselves together. This Series is complete with 8 books in the series.
Waiting for Spring by Anashin This one is about a soft-spoken girl who decided that high school will be a new start for her. She didn’t expect it to involve befriending 4 basketball players. This a such a cute story and the friendship in this story is really great. This is a complete series with 14 volumes.
Dinosaur Sanctuary by Itaru Kinoshita Dinosaurs have come back, and the main character's dream has always been to work with them, and her dream is finally coming true. These books were great. It reminded me of a softer version of Jurassic Park there’s also little dinosaur fun facts mixed in. This is a newer series so there are only 3 volumes currently published.
